Today you’ll make your way to Chiang Mai, Thailand’s northern capital. You’ll be greeted by forested foothills as you make your way to the city center; many of the Chiang Mai’s structures were made of teak from the surrounding rain forests, with the material having been brought over by elephants!

Continue on and make a stop at Wat Chedi Luang, which stood as one of the city’s largest structures until having been destroyed by an earthquake in 1545. The Saduak Floating Market is filled with boats and is really crowded. I must suggest this market to all the visitors because it will make you understand the traditional culture of Thailand.
