My favorite part was Nara Park, feeding deer while surrounded by ancient temples felt like stepping into a storybook. My sister’s favorite part was shopping in Nishiki Market and watching Great Buddha at Toda-ji temple. The Great Buddha’s size amazed me. Everything was well organized even if no guide was provided, though detailed info at places helped.

We were on a family trip. The hotel rooms were adequate but not very spacious and the family of 6 wanted to sleep in a single place. The Mt. Fuji views were great when weather allowed but sometimes hidden in clouds. Clouds were playing with us.
